Local Artist Pimps His Tricycle

Maybe you’ve seen him rolling through the Upper West Side or Times Square, pumping Sade and waving at the ladies. Bladie Flowness, an artist who says he lives on West 76th Street, has been working on his insane pimped-out tricycle “The Swaggertist” for about a year now. The tricycle has a stereo system, an electric motor and seven horns to announce his entrance. It’s covered in a feathery pattern of turquoise and white that Bladie stitches with care. Check him out talking about the Swaggertist, and a film he’s starring in, in the video below. And check out our features on other local artists here. (Photos and video by Avi)
