New Website for the 55+ Crowd on the Upper West Side

The Upper West Side is young at heart, but on a strictly demographic basis it’s a little bit grayer than most other New York neighborhoods. Now, people who are over 55 have a website they can go to with events, listings, volunteer opportunities, and columns.
Harriet Flehinger started Upper West Side Focus to promote the neighborhood as a good place to “age in place,” instead of going off to a retirement community. Upper West Siders don’t need cars and they have easy access to great events, so why move to Florida? The site is connected to One Stop Senior Services, which offers free services to seniors. Check it out!
