Rafael Ramos walked into a Citibank at Broadway and West 86th Street this week and told the teller he was Paul Simon, police told the New York Post. But there was one big problem.
Ramos is 6′1″. Simon is 5′3″.
When the teller refused to give Ramos the $4,300 he requested, Ramos ran out, but the police caught up with him, the Post reported. Police said that Ramos had a forged driver’s license and credit card with Simon’s name on them. After the arrest, Ramos told police he was depressed and they took him to the hospital.
