With one of the biggest entertaining days of the year approaching, Super Bowl Sunday, it’s time to kick things off with a recipe contest for fabulous football dips. A $25 gift card is on the line.

The Challenge: Develop a delicious dip recipe (could be a salsa, guacamole, cheese spread, or even a fresh fruit dessert dip) that is both inexpensive (under $ 10 dollars) and good for you (that means healthy– use your common sense here– no bacon or cream!).

The Rules: Keep it Simple! In order to qualify, submit an original recipe, or a recipe that you have adapted to be healthier.  The recipe must use at least one vegetable and one Whole Foods Brand product (365 Everyday Value or Whole Foods Brand).

Email your recipe to creativedelites at gmail dot com. Your information will only be used to notify you if you win the challenge.

Submission Period: Recipes must be submitted and received between Thursday, January 28 and Saturday, February 6.

Recipe Info to Include: (1) Ingredient List (2) Method/Prep (3) Optional: A Creative Super Bowl- themed title for your recipe

Selection of Winner: Creative Delites will select the winning recipe.  What will you win? A $ 25 dollar gift card from Whole Foods. The gift card will be on hold under your name at the Whole Foods Market, Upper West Side location. And, the winner’s recipe will be posted on Creative Delites!

For an example, see an original Creative Delites recipe for Game-Day Grilled Salsa.

Good luck! Let the party begin!
