Apple Store Prices Undercut by Vendor Right Outside

vendorIt’s capitalism’s version of  David versus Goliath. A street vendor camped out outside the Upper West Side Apple Store is undercutting the store’s prices for iPhone and iPod cases, a blogger found on a recent visit.

The massive glass Apple emporium at 67th and Broadway sells cases, but they tend to be more expensive than the bootleg ones that vendors sell on the street, and one vendor appears to have found the perfect place to sell his wares. GadgetSteria, a gadget blog, says the vendor outside the store is fully licensed and very nice, adding “Hey, if he’s making money and actually selling legit cases that aren’t crap, more power to him.” (thumbnail via GadgetSteria)
