New Apple Store Will Open on November 14

It’s official. At 10 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 14, Apple will pull back the fake curtain now covering the new Apple Store at 67th and Broadway and let the hordes in.

Some basic information about the much-anticipated new store is now up on Apple’s website. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, and the phone number is 212-209-3400.  (As of Friday, callers just got a recorded message that says the store is still under construction).

ifoAppleStore, the website that tracks everything about Apple’s retail openings, says employees are training for the big day. And the site posted a picture of the new store’s curved roof — a commenter noted that the roof could be quite an appealing target for pigeons.
