Three Injured After Taxi Slams Into Subway Station

A taxi driver, his passenger and a pedestrian sustained injuries after the cab plowed through a metal gate and into the south side of the 72nd street subway station on Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m. The taxi had been traveling North on Amsterdam Avenue when the driver lost control, witnesses told New York 1. None of the injuries were life-threatening, the TV station reported.
