The Brief Anxiety-Filled Bagel Crisis

Is the West Side still the West Side without H&H bagels? We almost had to confront that question on Friday after the store closed briefly by order of the state tax department. The owners, First Toro Limited Partnership owed more than $100,000 in taxes, the New York Times reported. If this means the already sky-high price of an H&H bagel is going up, there could be riots.
